I’ve never left India, so all I know about foreign countries comes from movies, YouTube, and basically the Internet.
Still...
Some things seem really impressive to me, so I’m trying to adapt them in my life.
- Parents' property ≠ My property
- Being independent in making choices without others’ influence (may be minimal)
- Using expressive words in daily life to express emotions like “love you”, “proud of you”, "Miss you" ...
- Treating public places as if they’re my own
- Walking instead of using vehicles for short distances
This one I’d like to try someday, but maybe not now, until social change happens:
Calling higher authorities by their first name instead of “Sir/Madam”.

Source: Bad Girl movie review (Gurubhai YouTube channel)
